We are passionate about water and work to deliver clean reusable water at affordable costs. Pollution is responsible for the death of 9 million people every year, including 361,000 children under the age of five. More than 2 billion people worldwide have no access to clean water. Disease caused by pollution is most prevalent among minorities and the marginalised.
In developed economies, treated wastewater is used for irrigation, managed aquifer recharge and abstraction. Using water in this way causes severe pollution of downstream resources, mainly because state-of-the-art wastewater technologies are not designed to remove micropollutants that cause cancer, autoimmune diseases and other illnesses.
We have translated our multidisciplinary research discoveries into a patented technology, Daphne Water Solutions (WO/2021/116229) that solves urgent environmental and climate change-related water shortage problems.
